OK, so now we are finally on to day 5 of the vacation. I think I am taking this so slow because I secretly want to relive it as slow as possible. I am not going back again until January so that is a long time to wait for the Disney Magic.....now that is totally my personal opinion. I know there are many of you out there reading this blog thinking about how one time is enough at Disney. What can I say I am a fanatic :)

We took today as a very low key day at Epcot....it stated out as just some time to let the kids play on the new play equipment that they brought in for the flower and garden festival into a bunch of other things as well. That had a great Butterfly Garden that was really neat to go to.
Just some random flowers I was able to photograph....you know that there is no flower pics going on in WI in the middle of March.
Even though we didn't do much of the typical Epcot things I still had to get some shots of Spaceship earth.

The kids adored this playground that was divided up by age groups. It promoted development for kids as well as it was just plain fun.....Q on the other hand was not into getting his picture taken. I think the ones of him on this play set may all be blurry.

We hit up everything inside the Seas with Nemo and Friends. Then we went back to the hotel.

I promise.....

I really have been scrapbooking. A lot in fact....but I am trying out for many design teams and need to keep my projects hidden for a while. I will share them as soon as I can.

I also have been dealing with the never ending saga of asthma. My kids keep gettting really bad asthma flair ups. Hence I am here on the blog at 5:30 am. i have Q next to me asleep on my lap. He just finished a breathing treatment an hour ago and it does not seem worth it for me to sleep as Gracie needs to get up for one in a few minutes. It is wearing on me big time over the past few days. I feel like everything is going in slow motion. Of course tomorrow when the kids nap I wil nap too.

We did have a good Easter yesterday despite the astham. The kids were thrilled with all their basket contents. The Easter Bunny did a good job this year. :) We went to churcha dn then came home for a brunch befroe the kids headed over to thier Dads for a bit. While they were gone I was able to nap as well as go to a grown up movie with my parents and sister Kayla. Then the kids came back home, we had a bit of dinner while we watched Bedtime Stories together. I love Adam Sandler so it was cool to be able to share one his ovies with the kids. It was a very sweet family movie.

Ok now onto Gracies breathign treatment.....

Happy St. Patrick's Day...onto Day 4. Gracie was not in her St Patrick's day get up very long. So this is the only picture I have of her in it.
Gracie got all dolled up today at the bibbidi-bobbiti boutique. IT WAS SO WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!! I know its expensive but she adored every moment of it. She of course wore her princess get up all day long. As well as we now have a great haloween costume this year.

Then we spent the afternoon at Epcot....we ll , Mom and I went back to the hotle for a much needed rest. Q was in Urget Care last night so we were a bit tired after taking him there. He was alright, just another asthma flair up that needed some steriods to kick it. He gets so crabby, moody and down right mena from that prednisone. I feel so bad that it makes him that way. I know he needs it and I know it makes him better but it is hard sometimes when you know the side effects are going to do that to your poor sweet little man. He roceeded to throw many fits on this day. But if your gonna be a bit crabby I guess the best place to cheer you up would be Disney World. :) We ate in Norway at the Princess Storybook dinner. I loved the food but my Mom was not a fan. It was maybe a bit too ethnic for her.
All of us with Belle when we walked in. Us all decked out in our St. Patricks Day green...except our little princess Gracie. I guess we will give her the royal excuse for not wearing her green. :)
Kayla with her fav. princess. She has never gotten the chance to have a picture with Ariel. So now, at 19 she finally got a chance.
The only time Q was happy during out meal was when he was playing with this little girl. He sure loves babies. He was stroking her hair saying hi baby over and over again. I notioced he was happy and we were all taking a sigh of reliefe.
After this we had a bit of time to walk around. Then we watched illuminations. Now I tell ya, this was a highlight for Q. He loved it! It was nice to see him enjoy omething after a very long and hard day. All I could hope for at the end of this night was a good nights sleep and a fresh start to tomorrow. Guess you will have to wait and see if we got it......

Now onto day 3-It started out with a swim....ok so it started out with Gracie Q and Kayla swimming. I took the pictures does that count.
On the tram ready for a day at Disney Hollywood studios! Yeah we get to see Auntie M in actionas a cast member.
Here she is! The reason we came to visit. She was so mad at me for taking a bunch of pictures of her in her costume. But dont you think she will enjoy looking at them later in life? It was really neat to see her in action as well as learn about some behind the scenes things that I did not know about.....like you always have to point to things with two fingers. They dont want people to think that is is rude if they point to something with one.

My Q was waving to Mader and Lightning McQueen.....I dont know what on earht happend to the pictures of him actually with Mader and Lightning......I will have to investigate that.
Q was.....not happy during this lunch. It was picked just for him with all the playohouse Disney Characters...but he was really vrabby and moody. That is until the characters came to him. He really didnt eat much besides his soy ice cream. After that lunch I was warn out and I think everyone else was too. He napped, I walked him around and the rest of the fam went to see the Beauty and the Beast show. It was very relaxing to just walk around and take it all in.
Having a little chat with June.

Block Party Bash was a very fun parade for everyone. It was another one of those interactive parades where they stop and have you come out inot the street. At the end they threw out litle nerf balls that say Blcok Party Bash on them. You would have thought Gracie was g

"From up here you all look like little ants!"That's my favorite line from a bugs life. He never looked my way but oh well.
Gracie of course was all about the performance of high school musical! There she is down there watching very intently
So that was day 3......Day 4 coming soon. I have to get backt o playing trains with Q. :)

Day 2 at Disney. Today we started off the day going to Chef Mickey's for brunch....this is my Dory (from Finding Nemo) face during the waiting period. Can you tell it was a bit of a long wait? Well, anyhow here is more of what waiting looks like in our family....

Q had his little conversation with Mickey
Gave his Mama a kiss....OK this is so stinkin' cute...I love it.
Kissing his favorite...."Tuto"
Miss Minnie.
For a while Q, my Mom and I went back to he hotel room for a little snooze. Apparently they went on the carousel...These were the only pictures of while we were gone so I am questioning the fact that they did anything????
Kayla was in like no pictures last year and she is all over the place in them this year so I hope she is a happy camper about being on the blog so much.
Heeeeey, Get Up, Get Loud, Pumpin' Up The Party Now!!!! This was a a major highlight of the trip for me.

Look at her...she is having so much fun!
My Dad is such a good sport with the kids.
Then off to a train ride to try and give Q a little taste of what he loves so much. He of course adored every minute of it.

Waiting for Spectro Magic to begin. Gracie was upset about something....not really sure what it was but she was not into having me take her picture at the time. I know it isn't one of those perfect Kodak moments....but its life and I am sure later in her life she will look at this photo and laugh....right?
Wishes...starlight, starbright, first star I see tonight I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight, make a wish, and do as dreamers dooooooo and a ll our wishes will come TRUE! :)

On the non-Disney front. Q is sick still. Gracie is finally better and we were able to make it to her school carnival on Friday. Yippee for Gracie! Then yesterday I spent the day at Ikea finally getting things for my bedroom. Thanks to my Mom and Dad....I know I am really a lucky lady. Then off to spend some time with the girls scrapbooking.....well there really wasn't any scrapbooking getting done. It was more just time to sit and chat with each other. I really need to do that more often.

Disney Day By Day- Day 1 On the Airplane. This (Above) is all our luggage. Yes, I am fully aware about how crazy this is. But it is what it is. We don't travel light. It's just that simple. We will never change, thanks mostly in part to the fact that my kids have asthma (Which means a nebulizer and all that junk) and allergies and Quintin is a messy messy messy (Did I mention he's messy?) kid! We are talking like 3 outfits a day (On many days) here people. Yeah...that's all kinds of crazy!!!!
Graciepoo ready to go with her new Tinkerbell sunglasses. This was as we were driving away from the house. We did not leave Milwaukee until 2ish. I used to always fly out at a god awful time of the morning....way to early. But this time was different. I must say I don't think I can ever go back to that 5am at the airport stuff. To early! Then by the time you arrive at your destination you are too tired to really do much. Adrenaline kicks in for a bit but you crash and burn early....very early.
Quintin ready to roll!!! He got new Wall-E Sunglasses but he was not into putting them on for Mommy...well what can I say he's two. :)

Kayla and Q on the airplane. He had just woken up from a long nap. He was such a good little man on the airplane. Not a peep out of him....literally I don't think he said a thing the entire time in the air.
Graice sat with her dear Bapa. We all got split up thanks to an airline mix up....OK funny story...are you ready? At first Kayla, Q and I are sitting in the exit row...Well we knew that was a no go because you have to be at least 14 to sit there. So we sat tight for a bit and the flight attendant came by to help us find a place to move to. They moved us to the seat behind. Well, then another flight attendant comes by and says no can do! You cant have a cart seat a row behind an exit row. She is trying to figure out if she has to move all three of us and she looks at Kayla...then looks at me and says how old are you? I paused and reply in a very confused manner....ummmmm 28? She then turns bright red and says OHHHH I am so sorry you look really young. I then remind her that we really need to have 3 seats together so that there is a family member on each side of Q. she then scoots away very quickly. I think she is feeling a bit stupid for thinking that now. Finally about 15 minutes and two moves later we are now in a decent seat. I had to lug that car seat to 4 different seats form start to finish! Ugh! That was yucky. But I guess I should have the energy to do so...after all I am only 14. He he he :)
So here is Q and I on that day. Am I looking 14 to you?
Gracie looking out the window as we land in Orlando...she was so excited to be there. If I could have recorded her voice as she squeals with excitement!

After we got there Kayla the kids and I took the Magical Express. My Mom and Dad (the saints that they are) lugged all the suitcases in the minivan that we rented) Thank you Mom and Dad. So we thought the magical express thing would be so fun for the kids as they play a cool video about whats going on at the parks....nope! We had a non-Disney bus because they were all in use. So there was no video and no air conditioning. We were not very upset about the no air because we are from Wisconsin....we could use a little heat. Although I will tell you that at the end i was sweating and ready to GET OUT of that bus. So we talked about all the fun things we would do and made our own fun. There was a family in front of us that was talking about it as well. It was nice to hear their excitement. So cute. :) Then we get to the hotel and Gracie go this......

Yes, I planned this. I was unable to make her an autograph book thanks to being sick so I got her one delivers from Disney Floral to the room....well along with a little help form my little sister Melissa that works there. She also delivers little gifts for the kids to the room. That was neat to arrive to. :) Then we made our way to Down town Disney to visit with Melissa....we had not seen her in months so it was exciting. Plus she got engaged so we all wanted to see the ring!!! its awesome by the way. I don't know if my soon to be brother in law reads this...but good job Adam!

Finally we all turned in for the night ready for our first full day at the Magic Kingdom!!!! Yeah Disney.

Coming back soon with Day 2 highlights. Gracie is sick so this blogging the trip isn't happening as fast as I would like. :)
Go check it out.......

There is a blog party going on over at GCD on Monday April 6th. It looks like a lot of fun and an opportunity to win some great prizes. How fun is that???? If there is paper involved I will be there.
